How to turn off the outline in current versions of id? In v18 there was no such problem at startup. Now every time it opens and the outline is set to 1 point.

How?

@dtpd52885951 : "How?"

Have the Control panel open. For that use a workspace like "Typography" for example.

Hi @dtpd52885951 ,

what you are showing in your screenshot is the default setting of InDesign after you installed it the first time or after you trashed preferences and caches. So if you turn it off when no document is open, you make a new default for new documents. For already saved documents with a different setting you have to turn it off document by document when no object is selected on the page.

With no files open, turn it off.

I open a new empty document, zeroes the outline. I export to pdf, close the document, close the ID. After reopening ID and a new document, 1 point again. Probably a program error, because I have version 18.5.3 installed and this problem does not occur.

Do it with NO DOCUMENT OPEN!
