Huge empty area in text suddenly page 17 and on

I have tried everything. I am fairly beginnger though so this is probably easily fixed. On page 17 of my document, suddenly on all the odd numbered pages there is a huge gap/margin, forcing the text to start in the middle of the page. I have no clue how this happened. I have tried messing with the keep options and the balance ragged lines options to no avail. Please help. Thank you.

Possible reasons could be:

  1. An unvisible object on the master/parent which has text wrapping applied. Look into the layer panel.
  2. Text frame options could have a srtting to offset or to center in the frame. Apply the correct object style.

Hard to say from the screen capture, but it doesn't seem that the highlighted frame is your text frame -- no in- or out-ports showing. My first guess would be there is a frame you are't seeing at the top of the page to which text wrap has been applied. Since it's happen ing on all odd numbered pages I would suspect it's on the Parent Page.

The text frame options worked!! Thank you! I had to deselect "Use Custom Baseline Grid" under Baseline Options. No clue how that got applied in the first place.
