Hyperlink Question

Hello, I am looking for a way to automatically change the text in the glossary that my hyperlinks are attached to. I would like them to say the page that they are linked to, but subtracted by 3. This is due to the InDesign document having a cover page, and two glossary pages that are not numbered. If anyone knows a way that this is possible or if it isn't possible, let me know-- I cannot find any documentation and have been manually changing the glossary, which is a non-issue. Still, it is a long document and the Client is paying hourly so I'd like to save them some time cost.

Thanks!

Can you post a screenshot?

So you have a text - that is hyperlinked somewhere - but page number next to it, is a "plain text" - not a hyperlink to the same page?

One way - without seeing your text - convert to table - hyperlinked text in the 1st column and not-hyperlinked page numbers in the 2nd column - then copy 2nd column to Excel, increase values by 3, copy and paste back in the InDesign, convert table to text.

Thanks for the Response, Robert.

Here is a Screenshot of the ToC. Unfortunately, I had to redact some, but I've written some annotations that might explain the situation better. I'm not sure that I understand your suggestion, though. Perhaps you could elaborate, or maybe it is not possible from the screenshot. Either way, let me know! Thanks!!

So which column of numbers do you need to increase by 3?
