I was adjusting the height of my Hyperlinks panel box and now Cross-Reference took its place. How do I get the Hyperlinks info back??

I feel so silly, I'm doing what you say, clicking above "Cross-References" and dragging down. Nothing.

There was no divider line. I just found this: https://indesignsecrets.com/how-to-mess-up-your-hyperlinks-panel.php

That is EXACTLY what happened, so the only solution I've found was to reset preferences by doing this: hold down the Command-Option-Shift-Ctrl keys while you start the program up again. That got my Hyperlinks back!!  Yay, thank you for your time though. I'm ba-ack!!

They are two separate panels. If you can't see the Hyperlinks panel, choose Window > Interactive > Hyperlinks. Based on your description, it may just be under another open panel. Do you have a saved, custom workspace? If so, just reset it. If not, undock the X-ref panel to locate Hyperlinks (drag it over the page) and then re-dock it.

The Hyperlinks tab might have slipped behind the Cross References tab. Expand the panel wider and see if it comes into view. Click it to bring it forward.

You can also reset your workspace from the upper right of the Window. Find the drop-down from the very top of the bar (in between the Publish Online button and the Adobe Stock search window). It might have a name like Essentials or Advanced. Click that menu and select Reset it to make it visible again.

And if these two options don't fix it, then select it from the Windows menu to make it active...from whereever it is on your desktop.

When I try all that and activate Hyperlinks, Cross-References is still there. I stretch out the panel and nothing happens. I HOPE it's behind there, and can still  get it to the forefront. (see photo) Could you describe un-docking X-ref panel? I assumed to click and drag it aside, but nothing happened. Please keep trying to help me, as this has me stopped in my tracks.

Once fixed, I'll definitely create a custom workspace. I wasn't aware of that until this issue.

Ah, you are using an older version of InDesign. Place your cursor above Cross-References and drag down.
