Hyphenation - hyphen outside text frame

Hi,

so I have a justfied text column with hyphenation turned on. When I look at the column it apears to me as uneven - I know it's not, but it seems this way. Is there any option to "push" hyphen outside the text frame, so the text will be aligned with hyphen in the margin?

Thanks in advance for all the possible solutions!

Select the text frame with the black arrow, then Window menu > Type and tables > Article (in my French version). Tick this option:

You can also get there from Story (Alt+Shift+O) on PC (maybe Opt+Shift+O on Mac, not sure) in the English version. lLooks like this is the same as jmlevy's Article in the French version.

@Susan Culligan “Article” is the French term for story, yes.

Changing the hyphenation settings so you can't have multiple hyphenated lines together might help, too, but that's pretty dependent on the language and text.

Yes! Thank you, that did the trick.
