I am not able to open a file after recent update - error message says to use later version to open?

I recently update creative cloud apps and now can't access a file recently worked on. The error messages states to work on the file in a newer version even when updated to latest version?

Converting file doesn't work. 

Please help.

Problem solved. 

For anyone with same issue go to InDesign in creative cloud and uninstall the older version of the software.
