My one drive keeps trying to sink with this file. When I kill idlk file, it comes right back.

I tried renameing it and killing it and the original file comes back.

In what conditions exactly you're trying to do this?

The purpose of *.idlk file is to prevent another user from opening an InDesign file that is already in use (IDLK stands for InDesign LocK), and it should be removed automatically when the file is closed. If you find idlk file while ID is not running, most likely you had crashed and so idlk wasn't removed. In this case you can safely delete it yourself. You can't do this while corresponding InDesign file is opened.
