I can't work out why the spacing between lines are different

I can't work out why the spacing between the end of a bullets list and the heading below aren't inconsistent. The paragraph style for the bullets, the line break and the headings are all consistent. The settings for character and paragraph are all consistent. There are no character styles used. I've been trying to work this out for ages now and I can't work it out! Any help is much appreciated!

Why do you insert a soft return before “cooking” or “garnish” ? It may be the cause. Just set up properly the space before in the paragraph style you use for these lines. it could also be something relative to the baseline grid.

Thanks so much for your help! The 'align to grid' setting was ticked in the paragraph style - this isn't something I have used before. Totally agree about the line breaks, unfortunately it is a file I received from my client and it would take up too much time to remove them from all pages.

    Thanks again!

    1. Is the Text aligned to the baseline grid?
    2. Did you use a Paragraph Style?
    3. Is the same Paragraph Style applied to both Headlines?
    4. Is the Paragraph Style applied to the whole paragrah? (No + in the style Panel
    5. Repeat the 2-4 to the text before the Headline.

Why did you use a force line break? Makes no sense to me. Avoid it as much as you can!

Thanks for your response, I agree about the line break, unfortunately I'm using a file sent to me by my client and there isn't enough time to remove these as so many pages will be affected.

I've just had a look for 'align to grid' in the paragraph style and that's it!! I have never used this setting before, thank you so much!
