Question

I'm a student, and I am unable to package my 28 page document, and my file is showing 0 links. Pleas

Basically what the title says. I have 24 out of 28 pages with textual information, but i am unable to package the document, and my file shows 0 links

Kristen,

First save the document to your computer; not the cloud. Then you can File > Package it.

Cloud-based InDesign documents are new and sorta beta-ish. Currently and specifically, cloud-based docs cannot Package.

What kind of Links? External files - images?

 

Or Bookmarks / Hyperlinks / TOC / Index / etc.?

No links appear in the window at all. My project is mostly text I made in app, but I did copy/paste shapes from illustrator. I'm not sure if that would affect not being able to package the doc?

What error(s) do you get?

Did you save the file? Did you click on File > Package? Links are graphic images. Did you place any into the file?

Yes, I saved it on my computer as a pdf and InDesign document. I'm not using images, but I did copy/paste shapes from Illustrator.

And that's why you don't have Links - your graphics are embedded.
