I'm no longer able to select text and edit it

Hi,
I just noticed a bug: if pages are hidden, the selected text is also hidden. Normally, the selected text in a text frame is highlighted so you can see what you are working on. But as soon as I hide some pages, I can not see the highlight. But the text is somehow still selected, and if you write, the text will change, but the highlight is invisible. If no page is hidden, everything works fine.
I also tried to restart InDesign and my Mac and remove the InDesign cash folder, but nothing worked.
Do you have any suggestions?

I'm on macOS Sequoia 15.3, and InDesign is on version 20.1.

Yes, others reported the same problem.

Either downgrade one minor version - or be more careful when working till the next update.

😩 oh man,
too bad. Then I will wait for the next update. I hope it will be fixed soon, or at least that Adobe reads all the bug reports.

Robert is right. We've received multiple reports about issues with the selection tool. To investigate further, could you share a sample affected file and a screen recording demonstrating the issue? I'll try to reproduce it and conduct further testing.
