In addition to all other advice, in theory there’s a way for you to get InDesign 2013, which is being mentioned here from time to time: use the Wayback Machine for prodesigntools.com. The results are not guaranteed, and most likely you either won’t find it or won’t be able to use it anyway.

In addition to what everybody else has said there is still the matter of activating older versions. Even if you could get the version that you want the activation servers for CS5 and CS6 are totally not supported (they still exist but cannot be considered reliable at this point) and even if you can connect to them may not work correctly.

If you can’t upgrade the operating system to something more recent, you’re going to need to contact Adobe directly and throw yourself at their mercy. However, given the age of your machine and how old a version of InDesign you’ll need, I wouldn’t count on much.

Honestly, it’s time for a new computer. Not what you want to hear, I’m sure, but it’s the truth.

Your machine is considered too old. macOS 13 is the oldest supported version for InDesign 2026. Unless you are willing to hack the old mac, you cannot install and operate current. InDesign CS6 or CS might install and run, if you can find it. Maybe you could try to download OpenCore Legacy Patcher (OCLP) from github to get yourself back in operation by hacking an updated macOS?
