I-PDFs trying to open full-screen even when unchecking box in export

I uncheck "Open in Full Screen Mode" when exporting an interactive PDF, but Acrobat (and Reader) continue to tell me my PDF is trying to open in full screen. This document is for non-tech savvy people who are going to have trouble with extra clicks or changing Acrobat settings. What am I missing here?

All I know is that I can’t reproduce it here.

Does the problem persist if you export the document with a different name? Also, what are your InDesign and operating system versions?

I just updated both to see if it helped, so the newest version of InDesign (21.4.1) and the latest Mac OS (Tahoe 26.5.2). The only time that it doesn’t persist is when I use the same name because I ask Acrobat to remember that I don’t want it to open in full-screen mode.

Here are my export settings, and I’ve tried to change the “View” and “Layout” settings to see if that did anything...
