Actually, I asked AI for help, and the problem is now solved. The solution is about the same as your proposal. I found the fonts in Premiere Elements and copied them in a special folder where InDesign finds them.

Thanks for your fast answer, leo.r! In the library InDesign version is 2026, operating system is Windows 11. I got some extra info. It seems to be so that the license Adobe sells to libraries does just contains a selection of fonts, not all. I do not use InDesign in my own PC, only in the library. So I have no license for InDesign, but I use an old version of Premier Elements for video editing, and have a license for it. It has all the fonts I require, but the problem is that the library PCs do not have. And I cannot use PE for layout.

Can you please elaborate? What are your versions of InDesign and the operating system? Where exactly are the fonts not available? Are you using Adobe Fonts, or are they installed locally? Minion and Myriad are normally always available. Can you post screenshots that illustrate the problem.

Is it possible that you updated InDesign while your document was still using the Type 1 (PostScript) versions of the fonts? Type 1 fonts are not supported anymore.
