I want to highlight an object (day) automatically when month is changed

Hi!

I have a monthly calendar with a page for each day. I want to highlight the day on the page with a background color whenever somebody clicks on the hyperlink for the day. I am attaching a photo that explains what I am trying to achieve.

Is it possible to have an automation in InDesign that does this?

I have 12 months in a year, so I am trying to avoid to do this 365 times.

Can anyone please point me to the right direction here?

Make 12 pages and when someone clicks on a month it goes to that page, where the month is highlighted.

Hi,

I have 12 master pages for each month with days, Which means I have 365 pages for the yearly diary, My question is about how to highlight the day number so it will pop up or appear in another color when clicking on the hyperlink.

Any automation for this issue in indesign.
