ICC Colour Management Profile Question

I cant see a solution to this, but logically there must be one...

Every time i Place an image into my indesign template, i have to manually set the ICC profile for each image. 

Is there a way i can have my indesign template override each image's ICC profile automatically, or can i override them all in one go after they're all placed?

I have an older version of InDesign, is this something id need to upgrade to fix, or is there a solution that works regardless of version?
(I have InDesign CC 2014).
