id free transform

Hi All, using id using a on screen keyboard as I am a wheelchair under . I'm trying to free transform an image and I'm holding down shift but its still cutting part of the image off

    Are you sure you have the transform tool selected? It sounds a lot like the selection tool is active and you are unintentionally resizing just the frame and cropping the image.

    Are you thinking the Shift key isn't working as expected? If so, try rebooting the the computer. 

     

    Otherwise, try Object > Fitting > Fit Frame Proportionately and Fit Content Proportionately to see if one of those gets you where you need to go.
