ID stalling up on install

I just updated to Mac OS 10.15.7 and my InDesign2020, which I downloaded in April, is now a big ? I tried to download the latest version of ID and it stalls on 75%. I followed the online instuctions to repair. It says to inter Apple pw. I tried that and I tried Adobe pw. I don't know where to go from there.

I have a copy of ID2014 on my Mac, too, but it won't open.

Problem solved. It's all semantics. The instructions need clarifying. It says to 'enter your Apple password'. It needs to say, 'enter your (as in to access your computer) password'. Installation was sucessful.
