IDML files duplicating master page items

I'm exporting my project as an idml file but I've noticed that items appearing on the master page are now duplicated within the document. Does anyone know a fix for this issue?

Hi @Davis_XI , Did you double check that the duplicates were not in the original document before you export to IDML? If that’s not the case could you share the InDesign Document that exports with duplicates?

Hi Rob, I've attached a stripped back version of the file. You can see once you've exported as an IDML the elements from the master page are applied to the pages.

What is the reason you are saving the file as an IDML document?

We've been getting warnings about certain fonts and them not being compatible because of the type 1 issue even though they're not type 1 fonts. I found that saving the files as idml and then reopening them cleared the issue.

Sounds like a corrupt file. It might be worth trying the "divide and rule" method to see if you can isolate the issue.
