IDML template for use in Cosential - how do we set up threading in template?

Hi. We use Cosential Publisher 4.0 where we upload our formatted IDML templates with variables so that Cosential can then generate the document from Cosential and it fills the variables with the data.

We have uploaded a 4-page facing pages idml template w/ variables and threaded text boxes. When we generate a single document it generates as expected maintaining threading and text frame threading order. However, when we batch these together where Cosential generates more than one document into a single idml opened in InDesign it starts the threaded text frame on the first left facing page vs the first page.

Can anyone help advise me on this? Happy to provide more information and hope to speak w/ someone. I understand this is unique to it coming back out of Cosential and may have to do w/ the devops team there - but hoping to research more on the InDesign side - as to how i set up the template before it goes in to Cosential to get the results as expected.
