Images moving and distorts after exporting to epub

  • Been trying to convert My indesign file of my children’s book to ePub format but what happens is it moves the images that make the letters look like animals to different parts of the page and distorts them why can any one please help me with this problem

The short answer is that you can't do graphic drawings in ID and expect them to export to EPUB. It can be done with enough skill and attention to very small details, but it's not the right way to go. (See parallel thread.)

What stops you to do a normal screenshots?

 

Please do a package of few bugged pages and send to some dropbox/yadisk service and give here a link to this files, say your exact epub export parameters and may be some of our forum-users will look into your files and help you. Without files - all your posts is just a reading of tea leaves. 

 

Remember, never say you can't do something in InDesign, it's always just a question of finding the right workaround to get the job done. © David Blatner

@WillDog85 , you only need to ask a question once here. You asked first in a very old topic that was not noticed. I answered you fully in your second post. Let's continue the discussion there.
