Images with shading effects disappeared from PDF exported from InDesign

Hi, I have a problem with Indesign while I am trying to export a Pdf file the program do it but without showing me some files that I modified with Indesign buy using the shade effects. What I have to do?

Hi Ginevra,

just a follow-up after nearly two years:

 

Don't know if you still are affected with this, but there was a bug with sheared frames in PDF Export where some effects, Bevel & Emboss and Outer Glow, were not exported to PDF.

 

Affected was at least InDesign CS6 to CC 2017.1

This bug was fixed in InDesign CC 2018.

 

Here one example from InDesign CC 2017.1 where in the upper row I used the Selection Tool to shear the elements.

In row below the bug was not visible because I used the Direct Selection Tool to shear the elements:

PDF opened in Acrobat Pro DC showing the bug in the second frame of the upper row.
One of the applied effects is missing:

    Which version of InDesign and OS?

    Which type of PDF did you select (presumably one of InDesign Presets)?
