Import Videos for Interactive PDF Export -- "Start" and "Play" options
It's been a while since I didn't use "Embedded Videos" in InDesign.
I'm at v16.4 on Windows 10.
Importing MP4 videos has not changed.
But I noticed the removal of the "Controller" menu in the Media panel.
So when Export to Interactive PDF, all I can do, from within Acrobat, is to Start the video ONLY. No way to stop it.
I would have loved, for the sake of my undergraduate students, to simply be able to play the videos from the PDF. But it seems this can no longer be done without a Plug-in or resorting to a different PDF "Player"?
I don't want to distribute my course notes in ePub format when I can use PDF.
All I need, really, is the ability to Start / Stop / Play the video.
For the time being, I'll refer to the videos in my InDesign document but supply the videos MP4 files separately, for the students to play in whatever Video Player windown.
I was looking at supplying my OneDrive URLs? As a solution against supplying / using a YouTube link, which according to my readings does not work from the PDF (for reasons exposed by Adobe). I'll give the OneDrive approach a try, to satisfy my curiosity, but it's still not going to help with regards to the absence of "playback control" in the PDF?

I'm sorry to be late to the party... I should have know about this important change in InDesign a long time ago...
