importing , placing Text

Question

I've run into something weird, at least for me. When I place text from Word, and hold down the SHIFT key or SHIFT>ALT key, the loaded cursor changes to the grabber hand and I can't auto flow the text like I thought I could. How do I get rid of the grabber hand?

Did you use primary text frames? With those you should not hold the shift key when placing text.
