Improvement roadmap?

Is there a planned roadmap for improvement or similar features release calendar for InDesign?

Given Affinity revamp is out, among others, is there a reason to keep a subscription for the next year if there is no plan to improve?

Hi @MaradrX , InDesign is fully extendable via Extendscript, UXP, and AppleScript. Everything on your list can be scripted, so I wouldn't expect your requests to get added to the core application, but you could try posting in bug/feature requests.

Hi MaradrX,

This is a user forum, and is not a place where you will read insider direction about software development.

Could you be more specific about what you wish would improve?

The only place I know to see a bit of the future is to download the InDesign beta and work with it.

I was hunting for a roadmap to see if there are any improvement plans, which there doesn't seem to be.

The items I'd want (less pull down menu hunting, more presets, better parent/child page connections & overrides, add templates & others that are currently mods) seem to be items that even Kindle Create has.  It shouldn't be our job to hunt down mods or recreate such simple items when other tools already have as core functions.
