In Design page help

I have placed a 350 page document into InDesign. Most of it loaded beautifully. However, there are pages that leave a blank line on the bottom of a page where it should just go to the next paragraph. Other times, it fills beautifully.

I am sure it is something I have set wrong on my body text paragraph style, but can't seem to find it. Any help, greatly appreciated.

There are a few subtle things that can cause this. The first thing to check is the Keep Options for all your body paragraphs. Make sure you don't have any (improper) "keep with" settings enabled, and especially make sure the "Keep with next XX lines" item is set to zero.

If that doesn't do it, check on each page where that last line isn't showing up and make sure the text frame is full size and right to the bottom margin; if you drag it down a tiny bit and the last line snaps into place, it was probably jogged just a bit out of line.

Thank you. I will try these things.
You are a God-send.
