In Design version 8.1

I have read that when the next Mac operating system comes on stream it will not support 32bit. I am presently running InDesign on Mac Sierra with no problems but I do not know if it is a 32bit or 64 bit programme. Can anyone tell me if this version 8.1 will continue to run when 32bit is not supported or how I can find out which version I have. I have looked at the preferences for this InDesign programme but can't find reference to bit size.

thanks

Sandy

InDesign 8.1 aka CS6 is not supported for OS 10.12 Sierra. I've seen reports from people that CS6 either runs well or runs poorly on Sierra. If it is running well for you then consider yourself fortunate. At any rate since it is not supported now you can be assured that it will be even less so in future OS releases. If you want to run the latest OS then you will ultimately have to be using the latest versions of the programs.

Thanks Bill, that helps. I fear that I will probably have to pay the dreaded monthly fee then if I wish to use it. Looking for alternatives although I know that this is one of best programs for my usage.
