INDD files won't save after upgrading to OS 12 Monterrey

After upgrading my Mac OS to 12.7, INDD files won't save. Error message is that the "the file appears to be damaged." This happens with any INDD file I open, so it can't be a damaged file. I am able to save as into a different folder.

I also downloaded INDD v19.4. The same issue happens; unable to save, damaged file.

Thanks for any help.

Maybe a folder access permission issue. Provide full disk access to InDesign and then try

And after that can you save that new document successfully?
