All of a sudden InDesign will not print,

Other apps are printing fine leading me to think it is something in my settings. However, I can't find anything.

As a quick fix until you get this figured out, can you export to PDF and print from Acrobat or Reader?

I haven't experienced this exact situation (where InDesign won't print but other apps will), but I do find that my network printer just stops sometimes. Removing and re-adding it always takes care of the issue.

Do you have any error messages ? Do you get Print dialog or nothing at all ?

No error messags. The printer works as normal, but spits out blank sheets. As I mentioned above, if I print from Word, for instance, everything prints as normal.

How many blank sheets ? Equal to the number of pages in your document ? More ? Less ?

What if you try to pint only one page ?

What kind of the printer ? Some cheap and simple - of something advanced with color management, etc ?

And what kind of a document are you trying to print ? Any special Pantones, spots, transparencies, etc. ?

What if you create new blank document and just type "Hello World" 😉 in BLACK text ?

And of couorse there is this:

First, try to trash preferences:

Resetting InDesign

Reset (aka trashing) preferences (1)

Custom preferences are written to file each time you quit InDesign, but can get corrupted if it crashes.

Simply delete them (or move them elsewhere) and restart. InDesign will write a new set of preferences. Press modifier keys immediately as/after you click on the InDesign icon. Press Cmd+Opt+Ctrl+Shift (macOS) or Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Win). Click Yes to this message:

Startup Alert: Delete InDesign Preference files?

But maybe you want to change your mind (1b)
