Indesign 15.1 not opening

Hi, I have abobe creative cloud.  I had been working on a document in Indesign 15.1.  Today I went to keep working on it but the app had closed overnight. So I went to restart it and it just bounced in the dock and wouldn't open. Then I uninstalled the app from the list of available apps. So I click on other versions of Indesign and they too just bounce in the dock and don't open. I am stuck! I want to re-install Indesign 15.1 and open it and keep going with my work. That's the goal. Can anyone help please?

Do you have a Time Machine backup? That's one way to get your old version back.

I'm a PC user and though I'm familiar with Macs I've never had to restore from Time Machine, so maybe someone else will chime in.

Derek is correct. Versions 15 and earlier are not available for download. Only two major versions are available at any time. It's been that way for sometime. Here is the current list of downloads:

I found a solution. I restarted my mac, opened Indesign 14.1, and a notification came asking asking if I wanted to convert the document I had made in 15.1. I clicked yes, of course. The conversion went ahead, and everything is going again. I don't see any difference between 14.1 and 15.1

I don't think InDesign 15.x is available via the Creative Cloud app any more, it's now versions 16.x and 17.x.

Which OS version amount of RAM and spare hard disk capacity do you have?

Hi Derek, thanks for your help again.  Version 15.1 was on my mac yesterday under creative cloud. And today, poof, gone!  I am running high Sierra 10.13.6. My hard drive is half full, so plenty of space. My mac is 2010 Macbook pro and works perfectly and is fast. But I think apple is trying to force people with old machines to pay $5000 for a new model so they are making software that is 'incompatable'...I hav 8GB of Ram.
