InDesign 16.4 and 17.0 crash on launch

On my Mac (Ventura 13.6) InDesign 16.4 and 17.0 crash on launch since last week. This seems to coincide with the update of Creative Cloud to version 6.0.0.571. Everything is updated and I've deleted InDesign preferences. How do I get 16.4 and 17.0 working again???

I had the same problem with InDesign 16.4 on Mac OS Morave! The older versions are not online, but Adobe gave me an installation of 16.0 that runs. But it can not be that we have to downgrade because of the changes, Adobe must ensure that an older running system remains stable!

The trick is to rename the file UPX to UPX.OLD in the file /Library/Application Support/Adobe/
