InDesign 17.2 2022 program frame Mac issue or bug / Anwendungsrahmen Fehler Menü nicht sichtbar

I wonder if anyone else is having these problems since the latest update to InDesign 17.2:

I am working with free floating windows (not the program frame) on my MacBook Pro and have my menu bars on the right folded in/not visible. Only when I click for example on "Layers" or "Links" or whatever, the menu has since now opened itself to the left and showed me the menu I wanted to see.

Since the latest update, I cannot use this anymore, as when I click on the menu, it opens itself to the RIGHT - which means, I only see a tiny bit of the menu and the rest is outside my screen, not visible or clickable!

If you have this issue, please vote it up so this will be fixed!
I now have to use the program frame view to be able to work with InDesign, because the other way I am not able to use the program at all. Which is ... well ... I have no words for that.

Thank you for your feedback.

Move your panels away from the edge of the monitor, even just a bit and they will open up properly.

This isn't a new "bug" - its been this way for a while if you dont use Application Frame.

Hi,

Hi @R@Zeller sounds you may have a separate issue and I would encourage you to start a new post outlining your issue.

The OP on this post wanted his panels undocked but were opening right instead of left. It sounds like you want your panels docked. This post was resolved.

Thank you this works for me! You are the best.

Anyway, I had this bug some years ago - but in the last versions I had everything went fine. Just after the new update it reappeared sadly...

Thank you anyways for your help!
