Indesign 19.0.1 pubish to epub does not create the table of contents correctly.

This morning I was able to publish but after updating, the TOC in the .epub file does not have the TOC set up as multi-layer.

Do you have a fully defined TOC style, optimized for EPUB dynamic use (no page numbers, make source links, etc.) saved under a unique name, and assigned in the export menu?

 

That is, not using the [default] TOC setup?

I am not sure if something changed and made the default style non working, but it's always been good practice to create and use a defined style. Glad it was the right answer.
