Indesign 19 flickering then crashing computer

I have Late 2013 Mac probook with Big Sur 11.7.10. InDesign has started to flicker then computer will shut down. I have turned off GPU and deleted preferences but it has not fixed the problem. Any other items I can try or is my machine too old now to run the program effieciently?

It did but not as frequent.

Did you try to run InDesign on a clean new user account (create it in System Preferences > Users & Groups)?

Hi @Chelle221:

Here are the system requirements for version 19 (from https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/system-requirements.html). As you can see, InDesign is still supported on Big Sur, but the flickering suggests something with the display. Take a look at the requirments listed next to Monitor and GPU—I suspect that is where your 2013 MacBook is falling short.
