Indesign 20.5 Serious error detected

For a campaign the company is working for I had created a document in InDesign, after closing it I encountered the next day InDesign closing immediately upon opening with the message that a serious error was detected. Conceding to that the document was corrupted/damaged and making the assumption that it could have been due to me saving the document to a shared folder in my company's Google Drive, I started a manual recovery by recreating the file on my device itself. After recreating it and opening the document again today I ran into the same issue. All other InDesign files I have are completely fine. Anyone have some insights into this problem?
- I am on InDesign 20.5 (have installed previous versions and the current beta to see if that helped – it did not)
- I am on MacOS Sequoia 15.6.1 (on a company managed device with local admin rights)
