Processor: AMD RYZEN 5 5600 4.4GHz

Memory: Kingston 32GB   3200Mhz DDR4
Storage: 500gb M.2

I would like to ask if InDesign 2014 with XMPie 8.2 uCreate plugIn can execute in windows 11 64bit with no error.

If it runs on Windows 10 it will probably run on Windows 11 but you should make a complete back up before trying. But I have to echo Eugene's comments...how long do you think you can hold out with such an old configuration?

Do you have a backup installer for 2014? If not, the chances of finding one are pretty slim.

thank you for contributing BobLevine,

yes i do have a backup! If our machine is working and windows 10 is available, I can hold the old configuration.

Windows 8.1 was released in 2013

Windows 10 was released in 2015

There's no guarantee that software designed in 2014 would be compatible with an OS designed for todays software architecture.

You would need to contact XMPie to see if it's compatible or not.

Again, using software designed for 10 years ago - there's no guarantee they'd be fully compatible with todays architecture.

Why not upgrade the software?

thank you for contributing Eugine,

The reason why cannot upgrade the InDesign and XMPie it is because the one of our machine only supports XMPie 8.2 which is compatible under InDesign 2014.
