Can someone explain why InDesign 2018 V13.11 is asking me to start a trial (buy now) despite me having a full creative cloud subscription? Latest CC is so buggy.

Maybe uniststall InDesign using the dropdown menu in the CC app and then reinstalling. If that doesn't help, uninstall again and run Adobe Cleaner.

Try upgrading to CC2020.  It might also worth checking your system spec. How much RAM do you have? Are you using a third party plug in, such as a font manager?

I have the latest CC, but it was asking me to trial InDesign 2018 which was working fine before the update. After talking to Adobe Chat and them checking my machine you can no longer run legacy versions of the apps. Doesn't help if your plugins don't work on the latest version, yet another issue with the subscription model that's not customer friendly.

"Adobe recently discontinued certain older versions of Creative Cloud applications. Customers using those versions have been notified that they are no longer licensed to use them and were provided guidance on how to upgrade to the latest authorized versions"
