Indesign 2022 crashes on launch

Hey there, i'm having the same kind of issue with indesign. It crashed every time i open it (still on the loading screen). I run on MBP 2021 16" / Montery 12.5.1 / M1 / 16GB.

I found this thread https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign-discussions/aobbe-indesign-2022-crashes-on-launch-in-mac-os-monterey/m-p/12539798

& I tried:

– Updating Indesign

– Deleting & Reinstalling

– Renaming CEP & UXP Folder

– and finally using the cloud cleaner tool, erasing everything from the library & reinstalling CC

so basically everything that was mentioned in this thread. Nothing helped...

What can i do? Attached you'll find my latest crash report

The crash report mentions something related to fonts causing the crash. So the question for you is, are you trying to just lauch InDesign or are you trying to open a document in the process i.e. double clicking an INDD document that is in turn causing the launch of InDesign? If so then try launching InDesign without a document and then test if the crash happens only for that particular file or not. If yes then that file seems to be corrupted somehow or is using a corrupt font.

In addition try the steps mentioned in the following link regarding fonts. Trying other steps would also not harm if this one does not resolve the problem
