Indesign 2023 FAILED TO EXPORT PDF

So I;m running Indesign 2023 version 18.4 on a realtviely new windows pc and I keep getting the error messgage ' FAILED TO EXPORT PDF'. Great! I've read a lot of posts on this forum and have tried numerous methods including 1) not downsizing images, 2) not using large images, 3) replacing all fonts to make they're not Type 1, 4) changing file locations to my C drive....and others. I've tried simple documents with only one page, one image and not text and it still FAILS TO EXPORT PDF.

 

So, I would greatly appreciate any advice anyone can provide.

    Hi @ReggieJ ,

    revert to InDesign 18.3 and try again if all other things fail.

    From your description it's hard to tell what's going wrong.

    Thanks, sorted the issue. I'd moved the file so all the links were broken! Persistence paid off.
