InDesign 2023 no longer working after the latest 2025 update

The latest Adobe CC update deleted my InDesign 2023 automatically and I have no way to go back to install it again. I used it specifically to use an arabic calligraphy plugin called Tasmeem that I paid for over $1,000. I need help! This is very unprofessional from Adobe. I have many documents now that I can't even edit! or access!

If you go to the Adobe Care Contact Us page, there's a little chat icon in the lower right hand corner. It leads to AI nonsense, of course. But ff you tell it you need a human to help you download InDesign 18.5, over and over again, then eventually the AI will relent and connect you with an Adobe Care rep via phone or in-browser chat

You probably had auto-update enabled in Creative Cloud combined with the option to overwrite existing versions when upgrading.

I think that this process is not implemented in a user-friendly way and that the changes are poorly communicated to the users. Regardless, InDesign 2023 isn't publicly available anymore now that InDesign 2025 is released.

You'll need to contact Adobe support and demand a download link for the InDesign 2023 installer. I think you have a strong case for your request to be fulfilled.

Thank you leo.r for your response!

I couldn't find an email to contact them but I haven't looked thoroughly. I will try that and hopefull this gets resolved.

Thanks again
