InDesign 2023 V18 Hand tool not working

Question

Anyone else having issues with the hand tool not working?

More specifically using the spacebar to access the hand tool. The cursor changes but the hand does not 'cose' when left clicking and the functionality to move/pan is non-existent.

Selecting the hand tool manually works fine, its the spacebar shortcut that's the issue. Have tried using a mouse, graphic tablet and scroll-pad, all of which have the same issue.

Using latest build: InDesign 2023 V18.0 x 64

Windows 10 Pro, latest update.

Sorry to hear about this experience. I hope the suggestions shared by Robert helped resolve the problem. If not, kindly try rebooting your computer in Safe Mode (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-your-pc-in-safe-mode-in-windows-92c27cff-db89-8644-1ce4-b3e5e56fe234) and then relaunching InDesign to check if it helps.
