Indesign 2023 version

Hola!

Tengo un problema con la imprenta, estos tienen una de las versiones de Indesign 2021 y yo tengo Indesign 2024, tuvimos un problema con el empaquetado y necesito volver al Indesign 2023, quiero saber si el 2023 tiene 100% de compatibilidad con cualquier versión de Indesign 2021?

When you package the document it should include an IDML and PDF but it's best to simply send a PDF.

IDML will open with earlier versions but you may see changes, like layout changes do happen sometimes with it. Also, any feature available only to the new version would not work in the prior version. So I do see risks going the IDML route. Shipping the PDF should be the best possible solution if that is acceptable with your printing vendor.

You'll need to export your documents from InDesign 2023 to IDML which can be open by earlier versions (if you really have to supply InDesign files to your printer and not PDF).
