InDesign 2024 19.4.0.63 is choppy and freezes with MAC OS Sonoma 14.5 (Open-Core-Patcher.app on Mac Retina 5K, 27'', iMac ultimo 2014, 3,5 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5, AMD Radeon R9 M290X 2 GB, Memory 32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3). Is there a known problem with Open-Core-Patcher on Mac ultimo 2014 or similar?

You'll need to ask this on OCLP forums. Obviously, nothing is guaranteed or supported when using OCLP (although, judging by user reports, it generally works successfully with no issues.)
