Indesign 2024 file menu is unworkable!

Hi,

I have a huge issue with the latest version of Indesign. I have a Macbook pro M3 Max with 48GB ram (!) and I am on MAC OS 14.2.1 (23C71).  When I tap the file menu bar, the beach ball keeps running for minutes before the file menu is shown. It takes ages to save en open files. It is unworkable and is unmissable for our work! Anyone has the same issue, or does anyone knows a sollution please??? I uninstalled Indesign with 'delete my preferences'. I disabled iCloud. Still the same issue. I work with google drive, could that be an issue?
