InDesign 2025 Beta 20.6 fails to start with Blurb Plug-in installed

This is a show stopper for me as I am doing a blurb book!  See error dialog when loading. I have temporarily been able to get InDesign to start by removing the Blurb plug-in folder, but this won't allow me to publish my Blurb book 😞

I am on a Windows 11 ARM (Surface Laptop 7).

I would be willing to use build 20.4, but it now says expired and won't start either.

Please help.

Hi Scott,

Adobe's support for ARM-based processors is by no means fully working yet. It continues to be true that you shouldn't depend on beta versions of software for any real publishing.

BTW, I haven't tried out Blurb plugin. Do you have any past experience with it? Does it work well on a regular install of Adobe InDesign?

Yes, the Blurb plug-in has worked great on Intel PCs in the past and I have even used it with beta version on my ARM PC. This was working with 20.4, so if I could at least roll back, I would be happy.

Frankly, I feel cheated Adobe who basically "pledged" full support for Windows on Arm devices well over a year ago. This is impacting my Lightroom Classic usage too. If I find something better, I may leave the Adobe ship unless they fix this quickly. It's crickets right now, so I'm kinda guessing that full ARM on Windows support may not appear as pledged.

Mike, my only real fix to stay on Adobe and "not depend on beta versions" is to buy a new Intel PC or Mac 😞

Is there anybody from Adobe here monitoring and can let me know the status of this bug/issue?
