If you can still open your INDD document - please try IDMLing - export as IDML, open, save with a new name - do not overwrite your original file.

If it doesn't help - try resetting preferences - it's possible, they got corrupted during upgrade.

Hi @Patricia Fabiana5EC6

I tried to reproduce the issue on my end, but it didn't occur for me. Could you please confirm if by "2025" you meant InDesign version 20.1? Additionally, which macOS version are you using?

Have you submitted the crash report via the crash report dialog box? If not, please do so and share the email address you used when submitting it with me via DM on the Community. Reference: https://adobe.ly/3WKwv8I

Please let me know if the issue is specific to a particular document or if it happens with all files, including newly created ones. Also, check this article to see if there are any errors in the document: https://adobe.ly/42Joepd

If possible, share the affected file with us for testing. If it's confidential, you can share it via DM on the Community.

Looking forward to your response.
