InDesign 2026 Properties Panel Constrain Proportions Not Persisting for Width and Height

Nice to see this issue has been resolved for the width and height constrain proportions in the top control bar. But for me the issue is still present in the properties panel (which also contains width and height constrain proportions), I use the properties panel often to resize elements

Hi @danielm49639538 and @G_Man,

Thanks for flagging this. I was able to reproduce the behavior in InDesign 21.0.2, and I can confirm that the issue is not present in 20.5.1. I've raised this with the product team for further review and clarification.

I'll keep you both posted as soon as I have an update from them.

Do you know what? I thought I was the only person in the worlds having issues for the last 5 years with the properties pallette not linking the X and Y values with a chain link. It just does not work. Thank you for highlighting this. I have tried to find a thread on this but cannot find one.
