Hello @jenny_1863,

Thanks for reaching out. Please install the latest pre-release (PR) build of InDesign version 21.2.0.25 or later and test the same workflow there. You can access it via the Creative Cloud Desktop App by going to Apps > Pre-release > InDesign, then install the latest available build and check if the behavior is resolved.

If you do not currently have access to InDesign pre-release builds, you can request access by following the steps in this guide:

There is no InDesign 21.2. The latest version is 21.1.0.56

 

[Edit after @Anubhav M's reply: I should have written 'there's no release version 21.1, though there is a prerelease version 21.2]
