Indesign 21.2 n'arrive pas à s'ouvrir... "L'application n'a pas réussi à démarrer correctement (0xc0000142)"

Malgré les mises à jour et réinstallations via Creative Cloud, la dernière version d’Indesign (21.2) n’arrive jamais à s’ouvrir. A la place un message d’erreur “L'application n'a pas réussi à démarrer correctement (0xc0000142). Cliquez sur OK pour fermer l’application.”

En attendant je travaille avec l’ancienne version 20.5.1 qui fonctionne, mais il arrive que celle-ci plante occasionnellement, “Indesign doit fermer” sans raison.

Y’a t-il d’autres utilisateurs dans la même situation ?

I also recall suggestions to repair some C++ packages to solve this particular error (I’m sure Windows users will provide additional info.)

I’m sorry to hear about your experience. I hope Manan’s suggestions helped resolve the problem. If not, kindly confirm the version of the OS installed, and if this started happening after a recent software/hardware change, so we can better assist you.

Also, try running InDesign under a different administrator account (Windows / macOS) and share your observations.

Did you try trashing the preferences and cache to see if it helps?
