InDesign 21.3 reintroduces the document window position bug on Mac: document windows now expand below the tools panel.

Clicking the green button while in this state doesn’t do anything. If clicking the green button after repositioning the window to its desired state, the window expands under the tools panel again.

Reverting to InDesign 21.2 restores the normal behavior. macOS 26.2.

Ok, after updating to macOS 26.4 the problem went away due to whether a system update or simply a reboot.

Awesome. Glad to hear you are able to resolve it. I tried replicating the behaviour on my Mac machine. However, unable to reproduce the issue on my end. Let us know if you’re still experiencing the issue.
