InDesign 5 issue + Mac issue

I have 2 possibly related issues. One is a Mac issue (about which I’m currently querying Apple) and the other is an Adobe InDesign issue.

1.) This is my Mac OS issue: I show TWO iCloud Drives where there should be ONE.

2.) This is my Adobe InDesign issue: I’ve created a book (“indb”) with the title “I’d Love to Argue” in the Adobe program InDesign 5. My book is of course composed of documents/chapters of type “indd”.  The contents of my “book” (“indb”) are suddenly gone (the “indb" file contains only 123 kb) though its documents (of type “indd”,  all in Mb) remain.

... Well, either that, or  abandon  applications that aren’t supported in your new OS and go on to newer apps instead.

Yes, that's the alternative. But I knew that you knew that.

Hi Sandy—if the content of my book window disappeared in any version, I'd make a new book and add it back in.

That said, what everyone is telling you is basically, don't upgrade your operating system if you aren't going to upgrade your applications. We still aren't clear on what version exactly—you are using 5.0 or CS5—but either way, both were retired long before Sierra was released last fall, and neither is supported.

(I’m not a big fan of apps I’d need to subscribe to!!)

(No names, no names.)

But I take your point, Barb!! It’s a good ‘un.

Thanks.

CS5 is not remotely supported under that operating system.

You are, unfortunately, on your own here.
